Match the Battery to Your Jaguar F-PACE
The Jaguar F-PACE is a performance SUV offered with Ingenium petrol and diesel engines, six- and eight-cylinder power, mild-hybrid systems and the P400e plug-in hybrid. Each powertrain has its own low-voltage requirements.
Use the finder above to choose the production year, complete engine and fuel type. R-Sport, R-Dynamic and SVR badges are not substitutes for exact application data.
Ingenium Petrol and Diesel F-PACE
Four-cylinder Ingenium engines appear in several outputs, while larger diesel and petrol versions have greater cranking demands. AWD and transmission specifications can also vary by model year.
Diesel glow plugs require strong cold-start reserve. Match the listed CCA and capacity instead of choosing a generic large-SUV battery.
F-PACE SVR
The SVR's supercharged V8 and performance electronics make it a distinct fitment. A battery listed for a four-cylinder R-Dynamic must not be assumed suitable for the SVR.
Low annual mileage and weekend use can leave a performance SUV parked for long periods, making correct maintenance charging particularly useful.
Mild-Hybrid and 48-Volt Systems
Mild-hybrid F-PACE models use a higher-voltage battery and motor-generator alongside the conventional low-voltage network. These components are not interchangeable.
The finder covers a Lucas low-voltage application only when compatibility is explicit. Work on the mild-hybrid system should follow Jaguar's specified safety process.
P400e Plug-In Hybrid Batteries
The P400e contains a rechargeable high-voltage traction battery as well as a low-voltage supply for locks, lighting, computers and vehicle activation. Charging the traction battery does not prove that the 12-volt system is healthy.
Never use a starter-battery listing to replace or service the PHEV traction battery.
Tailgate, Towing and Outdoor Loads
A powered tailgate, panoramic roof, heated cabin equipment and trailer electronics can draw heavily during loading or camping. High-current accessories should use an appropriately protected supply.
If discharge follows towing, test the trailer circuit as well as the vehicle. A connected caravan fault can continue drawing power after parking.
Start Stop and Auxiliary Support
Conventional F-PACE Start Stop applications normally require AGM or EFB technology, and some specifications can include an additional support battery.
Identify every fitted battery before ordering. A failed support unit can disable Start Stop or trigger warnings even when the main battery tests well.
Warning Signs and Diagnostic Setup
Look for slow cranking, unavailable Start Stop, powered-tailgate refusal, infotainment restarts or several AWD and driver-assistance messages during wake-up. A PHEV may fail to enter ready mode when low voltage is insufficient.
Applicable models require battery monitoring to be reset or registered after installation. Verify alternator or DC-to-DC output and shutdown current as part of the job.
Confirm the Exact F-PACE
Check dimensions, clamp, terminals, Ah, CCA and battery construction. Browse the Jaguar battery range, or compare the Jaguar E-PACE battery and Jaguar I-PACE battery guides.
